£4,400 triumph over the tour operator for family struck by sickness in Spain
An Essex family have successfully received £4,400 in damages following a sickness stricken stay at Hotel Marina Skorpios in Majorca.

Gastric illness
Ill-fated parents Graeme and Victoria were struck by debilitating illness symptoms within days of their arrival at the three-star resort.

Graeme adds that the food in the hotel was terrible â?¦ Pool bar area was disgusting. By far the worst I have ever experienced on any holiday I have been on.
My wife on several occasions asked for the tables to be cleaned so she could sit down and on each occasion, was handed a dirty cloth from behind the bar so she could clean it herself.
He also remains angered by the hotels apparent disregard for safety standards, noting that the unusually salty swimming pool was often left without a lifeguard.
We absolutely hated our holiday; we dont believe the hotel was the safe family environment we expected it to be, he elaborates.
£4,400 compensation victory
