Lancashire holidaymaker plagued by parasites receives £1,800 in no win no fee settlement

In October 2015, Burnley man Adam Durkin (49), his wife and daughter, travelled to the popular three-star Club Mac Alcudia resort in Majorca.
On day 6 of the familys holiday, Mr Durkin turned on the air conditioning unit in their hotel room only to be covered in dust and material.
Upon waking the following morning, Mr Durkin discovered that raised pink lumps had appeared on his head, shoulders, upper and lower limbs.
Apart from being unsightly, Adam claims that the lumps were very itchy and caused him considerable distress to the extent that he visited the hotel doctor on 3 separate occasions.
Despite receiving treatment in resort in the form of cream, injections and antibiotics, the Lancashire holidaymaker continued to suffer on his return home, consulting with his GP for yet further treatment.
Unfortunately, 7 months were to pass before his symptoms eased with some slight scarring still present on Adams hands to date.
