What happened at the Thomas Cook promoted L’Etoile Resort?

Unfortunately Mr Mills and his family, it was only a few short days after their arrival that Mr Mills developed crippling symptoms of gastric illness and was admitted to a local resort hospital for care.

Speaking to travel law experts at HolidayIllnessClaims, Mr Mills reported birds and insects feeding at the all-inclusive buffet and food often recycled or served on multiple occasions to be just a selection of the troubling hygiene standards witnessed at the resort.

Suffering Mr Mills was to remain in hospital with food poisoning for 10 days leaving the rest of his family stricken with worry and unable to enjoy their holiday and planned family activities.

Upon the familys planned return to the UK, Mr Mills was deemed still to be too unwell to fly and remained in the resort hospital with his wife and daughter whilst the rest of his family flew home.

Three days later Mr Mills (and his remaining family) were at last cleared to return home and Mr Mills flew home to the UK under the supervision of a doctor throughout the duration of his flight.

Further investigations from doctors in the UK indicated that Mr Mills may continue to suffer unpleasant symptoms of gastric illness until October 2016 before slowly abating.
