Outbreaks of illness continue at the Eftalia Holiday Resort

British holidaymakers are continuing to contact our holiday illness claims specialists after falling ill at the Eftalia Holiday Resort in Turkey.

A number of visitors to the hotel have had their holidays after contracting stomach bugs at the hotel. Many have reported being confined to their rooms for days after falling ill.

The three star all-inclusive is promoted by tour operators including Thomas Cook. We have previously reported on this hotel in August 2014, when many holidaymakers appeared frustrated at the poor food and hygiene standards.

Unfortunately, the problems appear to have continued. One hotel guest commented on TripAdvisor: Very disappointing holiday that has resulted in a long letter of complaint to Thomas Cook. Stomach bugs for all adults in our party of seven.

The whole holiday was spent worrying about what would happen next. Wont be going back again and will definitely not use Thomas Cook who have obviously not checked out this hotel properly.

Tracy Stansfield, an experienced holiday claims solicitor said: The ongoing reports of illness at the Eftalia Holiday Resort are very concerning.

A number of holidaymakers have spent long periods confined to their rooms as a result of illness, missing days of their holidays.

It is vital that the reports of illness are fully investigated by tour operators and the hotel management at the Eftalia Holiday Resort to find out the possible cause of the outbreaks.

I would urge anyone who has fallen ill at the Eftalia Holiday Resort to contact our holiday claims team for expert advice on all aspects of the claims process.
