Further enquiries received after guests suffer illness at the Marmaris Palace Hotel

Our holiday illness claims team is continuing to receive enquires from British holidaymakers after they suffered illness at the Marmaris Palace Hotel in Turkey.

We have reported illness at the Marmaris Palace on a number of occasions and the articles we have published describe how holidaymakers have suffered severe gastric problems including salmonella and campylobacter.  Many guests were hospitalised due to their symptoms.

More recently, one of our clients whose story featured recently in the Sun newspaper and the Mail Online has revealed that his two children were hospitalised and placed on an intravenous drip after experiencing severe vomiting and diarrhoea.

The publication also talks of a further 25 children who fell ill and were placed on IV drips in hospital.

I do sincerely hope that the hotel management and the tour operators promoting this property acknowledge the reports of illness and work together to investigate the source.
