Guests bedridden with sickness at Blue Lagoon Resort
It appears that the five-star Blue Lagoon Resort has literally left guests feeling blue as recently returned holidaymakers take to TripAdvisor to warn of a potential food poisoning outbreak.
According to one guest who stayed at the complex in October, 3 out of the 4 members of their holiday party were ill with sickness to a point of having to stay in the room for a minimum of 3 days unless it was to get taxis down to the pharmacy for medication.
The Wigan holidaymaker describes the food on offer at the hotel as not up to much and claims that there are cats in the restaurant where you are eating and inside the food serving area â?¦ eating off plates that have been cleared from tables.
Another recent guest agrees that the food was disappointing and comments that they were sick after each meal at the Greek and Chinese restaurants.
Anne Thomson, head of travel law at Holiday Illness Claims commented: Illness has no place within an all-inclusive holiday.
I sincerely hope that the hotel and tour operators act on the issues raised in these reports in order to prevent further outbreaks.
At Holiday Illness Claims our dedicated holiday helpline remains open, offering advice and guidance to anyone who has suffered in an illness outbreak at Blue Lagoon Resort within the last three years.
