Illness and insects descend upon Houda Golf and Beach Club, Tunisia

A British holidaymaker who suffered from severe diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps during their 2015 stay at the Houda Golf and Beach Club has contacted the experts at Holiday Illness Claims to make a no win, no fee claim for compensation.

The holidaymaker reported to have contracted a serious gastrointestinal infection at the hotel and claims to have witnessed a number of hygiene breaches during their stay.

Reports of illness at the hotel date back a number of years on review site TripAdvsior.

One stricken guest claimed that all members of my family including me got sick and I would not wish it on anyone.

Alarmingly, they alleged that food was reheated and re-used throughout the day. Id advise to stay away from all meat and the salad, they wrote.

Insects are also highlighted as an issue by several guests on TripAdvisor.

One holidaymaker claimed that the hotel is fly infected.

They stated, â?¦ the canteen was infested with flies, all food covered in flies.

Another hotel guest described being severely bitten by mosquitoes to the extent that they required hospital treatment.

Anne Thomson, head of travel law at Holiday Illness Claims commented: It is distressing to hear further reports of illness at the Houda Golf and Beach Club 2015.

During 2013 and 2014, Holiday Illness Claims were contacted by a number of stricken holidaymakers at the hotel. It appears that the tour operators have failed to address the serious issues at the heart of these complaints.

I strongly urge anyone who has fallen ill at the Houda Golf and Beach club to contact Holiday Illness Claims and start a no win, no fee compensation claim. It is not too late to make a claim provided your stay was within the last 3 years and was booked as an all-inclusive package, Holiday Illness Claims can help you claim the compensation you deserve.
