Holidays at the Hammamet Regency Hotel in Tunisia ruined by illness
The team at Holiday Illness Claims has been reading recent reports of holidaymakers falling ill whilst staying at the Hammamet Regency Hotel in Tunisia.
A number of holidaymakers recently took to TripAdvisor to review their stay at the three star hotel. One guest said: I had a bad stomach, sometimes I couldnt leave my hotel room.
Then my partner became ill for the best part of the holiday, which made us lethargic and we just went to bed early hoping for a better day.
A review on the site made note of the dirty beach and disgusting food. Another guest said: Me and my husband stayed at the Hotel Regency in February 2015 for a week and thank goodness it was only a week!
Please believe all the negative reviews about this hotel, they are all true. The hotel is nice enough for a 3 star hotel but the food is average/poor, its all served lukewarm and one of the guests came down with food poisoning from uncooked chicken. I stuck to eating salad, vegetables and pizza.
Tracy Stanfield, an experienced holiday claims solicitor at Holiday Illness Claims, commented on the reports: It is always of concern to hear of a holiday which has been ruined by illness.
If there are poor food and hygiene standards, there is a risk of holidaymakers becoming unwell.
I would encourage anyone affected by illness at the Hammamet Regency Hotel to contact myself or a member of our expert holiday claims team. We are available to answer any questions you may have on the claims process and to offer any advice you may need.
