The team at Holiday Illness Claims has been reading recent reports of holidaymakers falling ill whilst staying at the Hammamet Regency Hotel in Tunisia.

A number of holidaymakers recently took to TripAdvisor to review their stay at the three star hotel.  One guest said: I had a bad stomach, sometimes I couldnt leave my hotel room.

Then my partner became ill for the best part of the holiday, which made us lethargic and we just went to bed early hoping for a better day.

A review on the site made note of the dirty beach and disgusting food. Another guest said: Me and my husband stayed at the Hotel Regency in February 2015 for a week and thank goodness it was only a week!

Please believe all the negative reviews about this hotel, they are all true. The hotel is nice enough for a 3 star hotel but the food is average/poor, its all served lukewarm and one of the guests came down with food poisoning from uncooked chicken. I stuck to eating salad, vegetables and pizza.
