Food poisoning ruins stays at BelleVue Club, Majorca

Guests report falling ill at the Bellevue Club

Holiday Illness Claims has been contacted by a British holidaymaker seeking compensation after their stay at BelleVue Club in Majorca was ruined by severe gastric illness.

The holidaymakers anguish unfortunately did not end upon their return home, as the guest was subsequently hospitalised for further treatment.

Numerous other guests have also reported disastrous stays at the three star resort and claim on TripAdvisor that paying for all inclusive was a waste of money due poor food and hygiene.

A recent guest, celebrating her husbands 50th birthday at the resort, commented: The restaurant was so busy, it couldnt really cope with volumes or people. Very cool food, never really hot.

Theres a river running through complex, which created lots of insects, mosquitos especially. I personally had 32 bites, an all-time record for me.

Another ill-fated guest reported contracting food poisoning at the resort and advised potential holidaymakers just dont bother.

Tracy Stansfield, an experienced travel law solicitor at Holiday Illness Claims, commented: When busy hotel resorts are at their capacity there is often a danger that food hygiene standards will slip.

Food that is uncovered or left to go cold can very quickly lead to illness amongst guests and ruin hard-earned holidays.

I would encourage any holidaymakers affected to seek expert legal advice as soon as possible as they may be eligible to claim holiday illness compensation.
