Frustrated holidaymakers vent their anger following Oasis Palm visit

The travel law team here at HolidayIllnessClaims have discovered yet more illness problems at a Mexican resort, this time in the form of the Oasis Palm hotel in Cancun.

Many disgruntled recent visitors of the Oasis Palm resort have posted their thoughts on the website TripAdvisor, and many of these posts do not make good reading for the Cancun complex.

One British holidaymaker who stayed at the resort in June 2017 claimed that both her and her husband fell ill at the hotel, as she revealed:

Water in the Oasis Palm smelt like you were showering in sewage.

Food very much the same and not great for vegetarians. Eat early because after a while it gets messy and it puts you off. Basically not amazing and my husband ended up ill and calling the doctor out after over 48 hours of an upset stomach.

In addition to this, another recent visitor also claims that hotel guests are suffering from illness issues as they commented:

I was lucky to only get a light case of food poisoning on my last night from the Agave restaurant steak.

We heard from other guests during checkout they had been sick for two days but from other restaurants/buffet foods. One girl [was] vomiting in the lobby, still sick.

Overall I will never stay at this hotel again or recommend this hotel. I put up with it for what it was but once I got food poisoning, I was officially disgusted by this place.

On top of this additional holidaymakers have also commented on poor hygienic practices at the resort, including dirty rooms, dirty linens and leaky hotel room ceilings.
